We learned of Brucanna's death last fall,(2008) when we were trying to locate her, from her husband. He gave little to no information. His name is James A. Niemi. Address: 6910 S. Prince Circle Littleton CO. 80120-3539.
Graveside services were March 5 for Brucanna Niemi, 60, of Sedalia, who died Feb. 27 in Littleton. Interment was at the Bear Canon Cemetery, Sedalia.
Born Jan. 19, 1941, in Athens, Ohio, as Brucanna Cook, she married James A. Niemi July 17, 1970, in Wheat Ridge.
She was a retired executive secretary.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband of Duluth, Minn.; her mother, Anna May Cook, of Fremont, Ohio; sister Barbara Cook of Athens; and brother David Cook of Athens.
