Today we learned of the passing of our 47th classmates, Bill Hamilton. As you most likely know, Bill has been in very poor health for a very long time. In light of all the pain he has endured, we are thankful he will have no more suffering One his favorite joys in life was to be associated with his class of 1959 and reconnecting at class reunions ; sorry he will miss the 50th. For some time, Bill had been living in the State Center Nursing Home. And I’m sure he would want to thank those of you who came to visit him over the years! Services will be at 6:00, Wednesday evening June 24, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1011 S.3rd Ave. Marshalltown, Iowa. There will be no visitation.

William H. Hamilton 68, of Marshalltown, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at State Center Nursing and Rehab Center. Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pursel Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.

It is with a great deal of saddness that I read about "Billy" Hamilton passing. We grew up together in the same neighborhood, and enjoyed a lot of play time together. Hy regret is that I have never really kept in contact with him, or the rest of my classmates. Please pass my condolences to his family.
