Dear Sweet Jerry...You were such a wonderful friend. I'm so thankful we were able to reconnect this year. Lovely memories. Margy, I wish you peace. Sending you a warm hug to soothe a bit of your pain.
Hello classmates of Jerry Peek - this is actually his daughter Kristi posting this message. Dad passed away suddenly on February 1st, the day before his 80th birthday. Our mom was heartbroken, after 62 years together (married 57 years). Our mom, Margy Peek (class of 62j passed away yesterday, June 29, 2021. While she had health issues, I will always believe she died of a broken heart. My brother and I are devastated, but also somewhat at peace knowing they are together again. They loved their high school years and friends. The story of my dad and friends going to a neighboring town to enroll as the Brown Brothers is infamous in our family. I can hear my dad laughing as he tried to tell the story each time it came up. Sending love to you all. Kristi Bell (krikri1@me.com)

I often think of Jerry as drum major for the MHS band. I was a twirler for three years and loved it.Margaret (Margy) Smith (Peek)
