Ronnald Funk, 75, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Central Iowa Health Care in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date. Ronnald James Funk was born February 25, 1941 in Algona, Iowa. He was the son of William and Bessie Mildred (Scovill) Funk. Ronnald attended schools in Algona, Iowa, France and Marshalltown where he graduated from High School in 1959. He then continued his education at Marshalltown Community College. On June 26, 1960, Ronnald was united in marriage to Rosetta Elaine Powers at the Bethany Evangelical Church in Marshalltown and they have resided in Marshalltown ever since. Ronnald worked at Fisher Controls for 38 years before retiring in 2003. He was a member of the N.R.A., Iowa River Gun Club and the Iowa Clock Association. He loved antique clocks, collecting and working on them, riding his motorcycle with his wife and going to flea markets, auctions and casinos.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years, Rosetta, children, Todd (Jody Boutin) Funk of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Kelly (Mike) Steffen of Marshalltown, Iowa, grandchildren, Shilo (Dr. Chris Pommer) Funk, Casey Funk, Bryce (Amanda) Funk, Codie (Esther) Funk, Nikki Camarena, Brandi (Captain Ronald) Klaas, Dustin (Lindsay) Eash, Christopher Eash, Kodi Steffen, Kali Steffen, 18 great-grandchildren (soon to be 19), sister, Janice (Carl) Covey of Tuscon, Arizona, brother, Richard (Karen) Funk of Janesville, Iowa and sister-in-law, Pat Funk of Bode, Iowa.
