Jim Short was my best friend in high school. We had a lot of good times together. He had a wonderful girlfriend in Margie Mishler. Jim graduated form an optometry college in Chicago and he and Margy were married and had a son, before they found out that she had (I believe MS). They lived in Waterloo, Iowa and Margie spent many years in nursing home care before passing away. Jim had his eye care practice in Waterloo
and passed away at an early age in 2004. He had a sister (Judy) who last I knew lived in State Center,Iowa.
