School Story:
In Jr. Hi, one sunny afternoon, I'm sure it was spring, Chuckie Dougan and I went in the west door to go back to classes after lunch. In the middle of that open hall we decided we didn't want to attend classes that afternoon, and went out the north door. Mr Weatherman? had been watching us. I don't even remember what we did that afternoon but I really got in trouble with my mom when I got home later,
I didn't learn my lesson. In high school, Barb Stackhouse and I didn't want to attend school on that afternoon either and we met up with Russ Betts, Rodger Watson and I think maybe Roger Norder. We went to R. Watson's house and his dad had a good liquor cabinet. I had never had any alcohol before that. Of course, I got caught, Mr. Miller was watching out the window that time. I was suspended for a day, but I didn't get in trouble with my mom that time. My bro, Calvin and I both played sick that day. Mom came home for lunch right about the time the mailman with THE LETTER came.Cal ran down a couple blocks and got the letter before it came to our mailbox. I didn't get in trouble with my mom that time, but believe me, I had to pay Calvin back for the favor. Something about Paul Wolfe and some brass knuckles and Judy Noids sister, Janet.
