Gary Gould

  Gary Lane Gould, 75, of Henderson, passed away peacefully May 28, 2016, in his sleep, surrounded by family, after a three-year battle with ALS. Gary was born Feb. 1, 1941, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He lived in Henderson for 20 -years, where he retired from US Airways. He was preceded in death by his son, Todd; parents, Frank and Minnie; brother, Jay; and sister, Linda. He is survived by his beloved wife, of 32 years, Sharon; six children, Scott, Darrin, Jeff, Teresa, John and Lori; 13 grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacie, Jordan, Chris, Brian, Josh, Hunter, Kevin, Alyssa, Rachel, Rebecca, Wesley and Tommy; three great-grandchildren, Mason, Logan and Carter; and six siblings, Vicki, Sherri, Cindy, Twyla, Pam and Butch. Gary spent his years traveling alongside Sharon to watch every graduation, baseball game, volleyball match and recital that his grandchildren could offer. He was a king at crossword puzzles, a preacher of politics and loved watching the Packers win Super Bowls. But it was his love of family and friends that made him unforgettable. Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, with memorial service following, both St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive in Boulder City.
