information on Ron. Here's a bunch. Married to Sandy, two children. . . .Collette and Travis. Served in the Air Force (and saved the world, if you believed his stories) and did one tour in Viet Nam (I'm one up on him, I served two). Right out of the Air Force he went through the academy, and spent the rest of his life protecting and serving as a Phoenix police officer. And a good one. I rode with him on six occasions, and he was all business. . . .a very good cop. He stayed with the force until he retired, which was only a year before his death. At his funeral, which was June 12, 2012, there was a huge police ceremony honoring him. . . .very powerful. The next day he was buried at the National Cemetery in Phoenix, this time with a very moving Air Force ceremony. And then he was gone.
But not from my heart. I loved him very much. Still do. He was a good brother, and a wonderful brother and companion.
Hope this helps you. Your friend and classmate, Bill Wooster

I was sorry to hear of the death of Ron. I will always remember him as a friendly guy who was a gifted athlete. I saw him at the Marshall County gatherings in Mesa a couple years ago and am glad I was able to reconnect with him. I was also part of the MHS class of 1959. My thoughts are with you.

Ron was honored with a very dramatic Phoenix Police Department ceremony at his funeral, and laid to rest the following day at the National Cemetary in Phoenix with a wonderful United States Air Force ceremony. He is now resting in peace in Paradise, and probably telling his "tall stories" to anyone who will listen.
I sure do miss him. Brother Bill

Bill,
Chuckie is so good about keeping us informed of the passing of our classmates but somehow Ron's passing got by me. I am so sorry to learn of this. Another classmate that I missed was Roger Watson. I do remember that rumble between Roger, Ron, and Dennis Paul in front of the Y. It was very exciting as you wrote in Roger's space. It's funny - there are certain things that stay with you from your past and for me, that was one of them. I also will always remember how good looking Ron was in high school and that didn't change as he aged. I'm sure you do miss him alot.

To Bill and all the Wooster family,
I considered you two guys to be MHS treasures. I always loved your sense of humor, yet at the same time, both of you seemed to have a sense of purpose. I will miss Ron, and I sincerely express my condolences to all of you.
