My husband and I are both retired. I actually never worked much outside my home, but went to school and graduated from Iowa State in 1986 with a BA degree in Interior Design, had some health issues and never really worked in my field but loved the experience. I'm looking forward to our next class reunion.p
School Story:

I came to this country on May 1st in 1957 from Germany with most of my family, we did not speak English at the time. I started school that September as a Junior. One of the things I still smile about giving my first bookreport in Ms. Knolls English Class.I went to the Library to find a short book,The Old Man and the Sea. I wonder how the kids in my class kept a straight face or from laughing out loud, it must have been very funny. I noticed just a short while ago that Ms. Knoll passed away, she was a strict teacher but helped me so much.
